As of Monday of this week we found out that we are approved. It's official we are now in the waiting pool of potential adoptive parents! It is incredibly exciting to know that we have completed all the tasks that are needed for now. It was a great Thanksgiving surprise to be able to read the home study and send our approval in on Friday!
I love this time of year. Advent is a time where I sit back and really reflect upon all the incredible blessings that God has given to all of us throughout the year. Advent is about waiting for the arrival of Christ. Waiting patiently to hear the great news of the birth of a child who came to earth to save us all!
I think about the wait that the hubs and I have ahead of us... the wait to hear that a baby, our baby has been born - much like the Wise Men waited to hear of the news of Christ. We know that whomever will be our child will bless our lives in such incredible ways! I am incredibly thankful for the road we have traveled thus far to become parents.
As I write this post, all I can think about are all of the expectant moms out there who are contemplating creating an adoption plan. I am constantly praying for all the women who make the most selfless, courageous decision! It is their decision that will someday make me a mom! Until then, my babies are all growing in my heart and this holiday season my heart is filled with great amounts of love!
So, now we wait... there won't be too much to talk about but I will try to keep everyone updated now and again!
